Tragedy in Narsingdi: Six Killed in Auto-Rickshaw Collision

Six people tragically lost their lives today, October 26, when a truck collided with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw on the Itakhola-Katiadi road in Shibpur upazila, Narsingdi district.


The accident occurred at Pacharbari as the truck was en route to Monohardi upazila. According to Afzal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Shibpur model police station, the impact was devastating, resulting in the immediate deaths of the auto-rickshaw driver and five passengers.

Authorities have yet to confirm the identities of the deceased. Following the incident, local fire service and police teams responded promptly to the scene to recover the bodies and begin their investigation into the cause of the crash.
