2 killed in Khulna road crash

The accident occurred in a head on collision between a motorbike & human hauler



Khulna, Nov 16 - Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a motorbike and a human hauler at Harintana Gate in Khulna city's Labanchara area on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Miraz Moazzam, son of Moazzem Hossain from Mongla upazila, and Mohammad Rabbi Hawladar, son of Hanif Hawladar from Batiaghata upazila.

Zakir Hossain, sub-inspector of Labanchora Police Station, said the accident occurred around 7:45 pm when the Harintana Gate-bound human hauler collided with a motorbike coming from the opposite direction, killing the motorbike driver on the spot and injuring another.

The injured human hauler driver was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.-UNB
