2 youths killed as speeding bus smash their bike: Police

The accident occurred in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj



Sirajganj, Nov 24 -Two youths were killed as a speeding bus crashed into their motorbike in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj early Sunday, said highway police.

The deceased were Shariful Islam, 25, son of Mizanur Rahman of Matikata village under Ullapara, and Naimur Rahman, 22, son of Shafiqul Islam of Ratankandi village under Shahjadpur upazila of the district.

Abdur Rauf, officer-in-charge of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station, said the Dhaka-bound bus from Pabna smashed the Ullapara-bound bike from the opposite direction in Boalia area in the early morning, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

On information, a police team was sent to the scene, the OC added.-UNB
