Worker dies in fall from building in Dhaka's Azimpur

A 22-year-old construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Dhaka’s Azimpur area on Sunday.


The deceased was identified as Nayan Mia, son of Kamal Uddin of Rajshahi district.

Quoting, Rahat Hossain, one of the colleagues of Nayan, Md Faruk, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said Nayan fell from the 17th floor of the under-construction building around 12:30 pm.

Later, he was taken to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared him dead, reports UNB.
