High-level committee formed to investigate Secretariat fire

Dhaka, 26 Dec - A high-level committee has been announced to investigate the devastating fire that swept through four floors of the building number 7 of Bangladesh Secretariat.

Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said this at a briefing in front of the Secretariat on Thursday morning.

The committee may comprise 5 to 11 members, he said.

Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan was also present at this time.
