Three young men tragically lost their lives in a road accident on the Bogura-Naogaon regional highway near Santahar, Bogura, on Sunday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Al Hossain (19), son of Abdur Rahman from Konkai village in Dupchanchia upazila, and his friends Newaz (20) from Masterpara and Mithun (19) from the same area.

Al Hossain's twin brother, Al Hasan, shared the heartbreaking details, saying, "We were nine friends who went to visit the Naogaon Business Fair on three motorcycles. On our way back home, one of the motorcycles collided with a truck. My brother Al Hossain, along with Newaz and Mithun, died instantly in the crash."

According to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Azimul Haque of the Santahar police outpost in Adamdighi upazila, the three friends were riding together on a single motorcycle when they lost control and were struck by an oncoming truck. The force of the impact left all three dead at the scene. While the bodies have been recovered, the truck driver fled, and authorities are now working to trace the vehicle involved in the crash.

The tragic accident has left the local community in mourning as family and friends grapple with the untimely loss of these young lives.
