Wedding Bus Crashes into Ditch in Faridpur, 30 Injured

At least 30 people were injured when a wedding party bus veered off the Dhaka-Barishal highway and plunged into a roadside ditch in the Bhobukdia area of Nagarkanda upazila on Friday night.
According to Sub-Inspector Mamun of the Bhanga highway police, the accident occurred around 10:30 pm while the bus was en route to Faridpur. The passengers, who were attending a wedding, suffered various injuries, with several critically wounded.
Fire service and highway police teams quickly launched a rescue operation that continued well into the night. Some of the more seriously injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
