2 dead in a triangular crash of 2 trucks and a motorbike

Jamalpur, Mar 6 – Two people were killed and three others injured in a triangular crash among two trucks and a motorbike on Jamalpur-Mymensingh highway at Jamalpur municipality area on Saturday. 

The deceased were identified as Jewel Akanda, 45, assistant of a trucker and son of Munsur Ali of Sankanda area and Shaon, 30, a motorbike driver of Bakshiganj upazila. 

Abu Foysal, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a Mymensingh-bound truck hit a stationary truck around 5:15 am when a motorbike also crashed into the truck, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured. 

On information, local firefighters rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital. - UNB
