Couple Killed in Road Accident in Naogaon

A couple was tragically killed in a road accident at Khalishakuri intersection in Naogaon district today.


The victims, Afaz Uddin, 55, and his wife Bilkis Banu, 50, were residents of Kola Palsa village in Chatangram union, Adamdighi upazila, Bogura district.

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. on the Naogaon-Santahar road when a truck collided with the couple's motorcycle, which was traveling in the opposite direction. Both died instantly at the scene, according to Noor Alam Siddiqui, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naogaon Sadar Police Station.

Police have recovered the bodies and sent them to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for autopsy. A case has been filed in connection with the incident.
