Youth Dies After Falling from Rooftop in Motijheel

A 25-year-old man died on Tuesday afternoon after falling from the rooftop of a six-story building in the Arambagh Miazan Goli area of Motijheel, Dhaka.

The victim, identified as Ripon, was the son of the late Md Hossain and a resident of Sheikh Shaheb Bazar, Lalbagh. He had been visiting his cousin’s house when the tragic accident occurred.

Family members rushed Ripon to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 4 p.m., but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Md Faruk, the officer in charge of the DMCH police outpost, confirmed that the body has been sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
