Two Killed as Vehicle Crashes in Dinajpur

Two people were killed in a road accident at Joynagar Bazar under Phulbari upazila of the district this afternoon.
 
The deceased were identified as Ayub Ali, 55, son of Afsar Ali, a resident of Baraipara village of the upazila and Yakin Ali, 50, son of Moiz Uddin of the same area.
 
The accident occurred around 3.30 pm on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj highway when
a truck hit a van from behind, leaving its passenger Moiz dead and injuring van puller Ayub Ali on the spot, said Inspector AKM Khandaker Mohibbul, officer-in-charge (OC) of Phulbari Police Station.
 
Ayub Ali rushed to Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital, reports BSS.
