An unidentified man aged about 50 was crushed under the wheels of a train in Netrokona Sadar Upazila on Monday night.

Mobarak Hossain, sub-inspector of Mohanganj railway police outpost, said the Mohanganj-bound ‘Mohanganj Express’ train from Dhaka hit the man on Netrokona to Mohanganj rail tracks in Satrashri area around 8:30 pm.

Being informed, the body was recovered and sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.

Quoting locals, the police official said the victim had been seen roaming in the local market for several days but no one knew him, reports UNB.
