Motorcycle-truck collision kills two in Dinajpur

Two people were killed in a tragic road accident at Zakerganj under Parbatipur upazila of the district today.


The deceased were Rabiul Islam, 25, son of Taslim Uddin of Jagannathpur village and Sujit Chandra Das, 24, son of Sushanta Das of Rajnagar village of the upazila.

Both of them were technicians of CY Molding (BD) Company Limited of Saidpur Uttara EPZ in Nilphamari district.

The accident took place on the Parbatipur-Saidpur road around 10 am when a motorcycle collided head-on with a sand-laden truck, leaving two motorbike riders dead on the spot, said Inspector Abdullah Al Mamun, Officer-in-Charge of Parbatipur Model Police Station.

Later, police recovered the bodies and sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, reports BSS.
