Two killed in Saidpur road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed when a bus hit their bike at Kamarpukur Bazar under Saidpur upazila of the district this morning.


The deceased were identified as Masud Rana, 28, son of Budharu Mia of Dalua Munshipara village in Kamarpukur union and Nur Islam, 30, son of late Abdul Gafur of Kujipukur village of the upazila.

The incident took place around 7.30 am on the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway when a bus of Shyamoli Paribahan hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving its two riders dead on the spot, said Moazzem Hossain, sub-inspector of Taraganj Highway Police Station, reports BSS. 

A case was filed in this connection.
