Motorcyclist killed in Cumilla road crash

A motorcycle rider was killed when a freight lorry hit his bike in Kangshanagar Bazar area under Burichang upazila of the district this morning.

 
The deceased was Saddam Hossain, 36, son of Abdul Barek of Barpara area in Cumilla Adarsha Sadar upazila.
 
The accident took place on the Cumilla-Sylhet highway around 8.30 am when a lorry hit a motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving bike rider Saddam dead on the spot, said Sergeant Shahparan of Mainamati Highway Police Station, reports BSS.
