Two killed in Cumilla road accident

Two people were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at Nangalkot upazila of the district today.


The deceased were Ahsan Habib Majumder, 52, son of late Nurul Islam of Keshtola village under Maukra union and Hafez Arifur Rahman Nayan, 18, son of Abu Jafar of Peria Paschimpara village under Peria union of the upazila.

The accident occurred in front of Nangalkot Model Women's College when tow motorcycles collided head-on, leaving the bike riders injured.

Injured Ahsan habib was taken to Cumilla Private Medical Center and Hafez Arifur Rahman to Cumilla Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared them dead, reports BSS. 

Nangalkot Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AK Fazlul Haque confirmed the matter.
