Train hits motorcycle killing 2 friends in Bogura
Two motorcyclist friends killed in train accident.
Bogura, Oct 2 – Two friends were killed and another injured when a train hit a motorcycle at Chatiangram level crossing in Adamdighi upazila of Bogura district early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Toufique Hossain, 18, son of Nayan Hossain and Maruf Hossain, 18, son of Helal Hossain of Uthrail Bamoni village.
Habibur Rahman Habib, officer-in-charge of Santahar Railway Police Station, said, the accident occurred around 12:30 am when the Chilahati-bound Chilahati Intercity train from Dhaka hit the motorcycle carrying three people at the level crossing, leaving two killed on the spot and another injured.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital morgue. - UNB
