2 motorcyclists killed in a Rajshahi road mishap

Two persons were killed on the spot when a speeding truck dashed their motorbike at Shishutala crossing on Rajshahi-Bagha road under Charghat upazila in the district this afternoon.


Mijanuur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charghat Police Station, said the deceased were identified as Shimul, 33, son of Abdul Matin, and Shimul Hossain, 34, son of Dabir Hossain, both of Salua village under the same upazila. 

He said the two people were heading towards Baneshwar Bazar area riding on a motorbike. When reached at the Shishutala crossing a truck coming from the opposite direction collided head-on killing them on the spot around 5.30pm, reports BSS.
