CNG driver, biker killed in head-on collision on Mouchak Flyover

A CNG-run autorickshaw driver and a motorcyclist were killed as a head-on collision occurred between their vehicles on the Mouchak Flyover in Dhaka early Thursday.


The deceased were identified as autorickshaw driver Md Nayon Talukder, 70, of Dholaipar in Jatrabari, and Md Yasin Arafat, 21, a resident of Dakshin Mugda of the city.

Both victims were rescued in critical condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where physicians declared them dead on arrival around 6:15am, reports UNB. 

Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of the hospital police outpost, said the bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue and the concerned police station has been informed.
