Four ministries, President's Office get new secretaries

The interim government-led by Nobel laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus today gave contractual appointments to five secretaries in four ministries and the President's Office.

The notification of the Ministry of Public Administration was issued in this regard today saying that they have been appointed on a two-year contract from the date of joining.
Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen has been appointed Secretary of Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs while Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid has been made Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division.
Md Ehchanul Haque has been made Secretary of Road Transport and Highways Division while M A Akmal Hossain Azad has been appointed as the Secretary of the Ministry of Railways, reports BSS.
Nasimul Gani has been given the responsibility of the President's Office (Public Division).
