Mostafa Kamal Majumder and Shaidul Hossain Shahed have been chosen as president and general secretary, respectively, of the Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Foundation (BDSF).

The new 11-member executive committee was established during a recent meeting at BDSF’s Dhaka office, according to a press release issued on Saturday. The meeting paid rich tributes to the martyrs of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

The committee also honored Chief Adviser of the interim government, Nobel Laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus, and other advisers. The BDSF has called for continued freedom for the country's press, the rehabilitation of the martyrs' families, and adequate treatment for the injured who are currently receiving care in various hospitals and clinics.
