Bangladesh Book Fair in Kolkata to start on December 2
Bangladesh Book Fair in Kolkata 2022, the 10th edition of the event, will be held from December 2-11.
Bangladesh Book Fair in Kolkata 2022, the 10th edition of the event, will be held from December 2-11.
The venue for the fair is the book hub of Kolkata, College Square, located on College Street. The place is surrounded by Calcutta University, Calcutta Medical College and Presidency University.
The date was confirmed in a notice signed by Mazharul Islam, vice president of Bangladesh Book Publishers and Sellers Association and convener of International Book Fair Committee.
The decision came from a meeting organized by International Book Fair Committee at the Anyaprokash office in Dhaka on Monday.
The committee has asked all publishers to deposit Tk5,000 in a pay order by November 19.
Stalls will be allocated at 5pm on November 20 at the committee office.
