Group art exhibition begins at Zainul Gallery in DU

A group exhibition named “Japan & Bangladesh – A Group Art Exhibition” has begun at the Zainul Gallery, the University of Dhaka.



A group exhibition named “Japan & Bangladesh – A Group Art Exhibition” has begun at the Zainul Gallery, the University of Dhaka.
The exhibition is jointly organized by Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, the Department of Drawing and Painting, the University of Dhaka and sponsored by bKash Ltd.
DU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Aktaruzzaman, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh MACHIDA Tatsuya inaugurated the exhibition.
DU Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Ali, of Department of Drawing and Painting curated the event.
The exhibition is a part of a series of events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh.
The week-long exhibition will feature the artworks of seven prominent artists from Japan and nine from Bangladesh.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors till Thursday from 11am – 8pm.
