The much-anticipated return of the renowned Canadian-Bangladeshi symphonic metal band, Opartheeb, with their spectacular live concert event, 'Opartheeb Homecoming,' is set to captivate audiences at the Liberation War Museum on January 26th, 2024.

Founded in 2008 at Carleton University, Ottawa, Opartheeb has firmly established their presence in the international music scene through powerful vocals and electrifying performances. The band's evolution is marked by a commitment to their unique sound, overcoming challenges, and establishing a profound connection with their Bangladeshi heritage. In December 2021, Opartheeb released "Bangal," a self-produced track that resonated strongly in Bangladesh, showcasing the band's musical prowess and emotional ties to their homeland. Currently, they are diligently working on their debut album, "Abchha Neel Kona," under the guidance of the legendary Sazzad Arefeen. Fans eagerly anticipate the album's release before the summer of 2024.

'Opartheeb Homecoming' is more than just a concert; it is a celebration of cultural fusion and musical diversity. The event will showcase a dynamic lineup of five bands, each bringing their unique styles to the stage. The eclectic setlist includes performances by Shonar Bangla Circus, Kaaktaal, Apekkhik, and AK Rahul, promising an unforgettable night for all music enthusiasts.
