Sk Bashir made Chairman of Biman's Board of Directors

Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited, the national flag carrier.
The Ministry issued a notification to this end on Tuesday.
According to the notification, the appointment was made under the authority granted by Section 30(C) of the Bangladesh Biman (Repealed Bangladesh Biman Ordinance 1972, Restoration and Amendment) Act, 2023, and Article 51 of Biman’s Articles of Association, formed under the Companies Act, 1994, reports UNB.
The decision, made in the public interest, takes immediate effect, reads the notification.
