Bagerhat war crimes accused dies

Dhaka – Abdul Ali Mollah, a war crimes accused of Bagerhat, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday morning. Jahangir, senior superintendent of Dhaka Central Jail, said Abdul Ali Mollah,80, was admitted to the hospital under police custody in the morning as he fell sick  due to various old age complications.UNB agencyMollah, a resident of Udankhali village in Kachua upazila of Bagerhat district, breathed his last around 9:25 am, he said.Earlier on January 25, police arrested Mollah from his house hours after the International Crimes Tribunal-1 issued arrest warrant against him in a case filed for allegedly committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
