Bangladesh Bank (BB) today purchased $25 million from two commercial banks through multiple auction methods.

According to central bank data, it bought dollars at the rate of Tk 122.75.

Accordingly, total purchases stood at $170 million in May 2026 and $5,843.50 million in FY 2025-26.
