Islami Bank to facilitate Universal Pension Scheme

an MoU has recently been signed between the Islami Bank and the National Pension Authority.

Registration for the Universal Pension Scheme and monthly installment payments can be made through Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Islami Bank and the National Pension Authority was recently signed in the conference room of the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance.

In the presence of Finance Secretary Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mazumdar, Md. Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of the bank and Md. Mahiuddin Khan, Executive Chairman of the National Pension Authority signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Md. Golam Mostofa and AYM Ziauddin Al-Mamun, members of the National Pension Authority, Sirazam Munira, Deputy Secretary along with managing directors of different banks and Senior officials of the National Pension Authority were present on the occasion. – Press release
