Dhaka, 23 October 2025: BRAC Bank has signed an Employee Banking Agreement with East West University, a leading private university of Bangladesh, to provide customised banking solutions and superior services.

Through this collaboration, the employees of East West University will enjoy a seamless and rewarding banking experience, including salary accounts, multi-currency debit cards, credit cards, loan facilities, Deposit Pension Schemes (DPS), Fixed Deposits (FD), and a host of exclusive privileges under BRAC Bank’s Employee Banking proposition.

 Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees of East West University and Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement of behalf of their respective organisation at the university premises on October 20, 2025.

From East West University, Professor Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor; Air Cdre (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer; Touhidul Islam, FCA, Director of Finance; Mashfiqur Rahman, Registrar; along with senior officials attended the signing ceremony.

Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Head of Retail Banking; Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, DMD and Head of Branch Distribution Network; A K M Shahadul Islam, Head of Employee Banking; Syed Maheen Zubayeed, Head of Premium Banking; Syeda Mahzabeen, Branch Manager, Motijheel Branch; Zebun Nahar, Head of Employee Banking Proposition and Senior Relationship Manager; along with their team attended the signing ceremony.
