Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organized a professional skills development, training and orientation program for newly recruited security guards on 17 November 2025, Monday at the Islami Bank Tower. 

Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director, was present as the chief guest. Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim, Additional Managing Director; ASM Rezaul Karim, Director General of Islami Bank Training and Research Academy; A.K.M Kawsar Alam, Senior Executive Vice President; Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) K F A. Sohel, Vice President and Md Sanaullah, First Assistant Vice President along with other executives and officials of the bank, were also present.

A total of 130 newly recruited security guards participated in this day-long workshop. The training highlighted various aspects of responsibility, ensuring security within the banking premises and the use of modern security equipment. - UNB
