HAISON International, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ITPO Tokyo, will host a business mission from Bangladesh to Japan in April 2025. This mission aims to strengthen economic ties and create new opportunities for Bangladeshi businesses in the Japanese market.

A three-member coordinating team from HAISON is currently in Tokyo, working closely with UNIDO ITPO Tokyo to finalize the program's structure and objectives. The team is also engaging with key stakeholders, including the Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, to ensure a seamless and successful event.

This mission will mark the eighth of its kind since 2017, reflecting the growing partnership between Bangladesh and Japan. Originally planned for December 2024, the mission has been rescheduled to April 2025 due to local circumstances, ensuring a more favorable environment for business engagements.

The program will focus on selecting Bangladeshi companies with a proven business track record and an existing relationship with Japanese firms. Special emphasis will be placed on businesses from non-traditional sectors that show strong potential for collaboration with Japanese counterparts, opening doors for long-term partnerships and joint ventures.

This initiative is expected to further enhance Bangladesh’s visibility in the global market and deepen economic ties between the two nations.
