Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin reassured the public on Wednesday that the edible oil market, particularly the shortage of soybean oil, will stabilize within the next seven to ten days. Speaking at a program at the Secretariat, he addressed concerns over supply disruptions, emphasizing that the situation will be resolved soon.

In addition, Sheikh Bashir Uddin assured that there would be no instability in the prices of essential commodities such as chickpeas, peas, dates, lentils, and sugar ahead of Ramadan, as there are no supply crises for these products. He further emphasized that the market is in a stable condition and there is no reason for concern.
