After two consecutive price drops, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has increased gold prices again in the local market. This time, the price of 22-carat gold has been raised by Tk 3,266 per bhori, setting the new price at Tk 258,824 per bhori.

BAJUS announced the decision in a statement on Saturday (February 21) morning. The new prices came into effect from 10:15 am on the same day.

According to the statement, the price of pure gold (acid gold) has increased in the local market. Considering the overall situation, the association has fixed the new gold prices.
