Enrollment of students for class 1 to 9 begins Sunday

Secondary schools will start enrollment of students for class 1 to 9 from Sunday.



 Secondary schools will start enrollment of students for class 1 to 9 from Sunday. 

The admission process will continue till December 21.

The government and non-government schools will now enroll admission-seekers from waiting list from December 22 to December 27, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) sources said.

 All the documents of the selected students will be verified carefully. 

The schools have been instructed not to charge any extra fees and stern action would be taken schools disobeying this instruction, DSHE officials said. 

They said digital lottery for admission to 540 government schools took place on December 12 and a similar lottery for admission to 2,852 non-government schools in the metropolitan areas and district, Sadar upazilas were held on December 13.
