Deceased Firoz Kazi, 22, was fourth year student of Institute of Modern Languages (IML) at DU

A student of Dhaka University (DU) died after falling off from 'Bijoy Ekattor Hall' early Wednesday.
Deceased Firoz Kazi, 22, was fourth year student of Institute of Modern Languages (IML) at DU. No injury marks were found on his body. He hailed from Gopalganj.
Doctors at the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) declared Firoz dead after he was taken there around 1am.
"Firoz used to live at Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall. Hearing a sound, we went out of Bijoy Ekattor Hall and found Firoz lying on the ground floor and, later, took him to the hospital," said DU student Mahim Khan.
"It was not clear yet whether Firoz 'committed suicide' or carelessly slipped down from the Bijoy Ekattor Hall. There were no injury marks on his body."
The hospital police camp in-charge Bachchu Miah said that the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
According to the eyewitnesses, Firoz might have been falling down from the sixth or seventh floor of the hall.
