Dean’s Awards distributed at Sher-e-Bangla Agri University

Dean Award 2023 was distributed at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Dhaka on 29 October.

On October 29, Dean’s Awards were distributed among 469 students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) Dhaka for their outstanding academic performance in different levels during the period from 2018 to 2023.

Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University attended the function as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Alok Kumar Paul Pro VC and Prof. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Treasurer of SAU were present as special guests. Prof. Dr, Md Jafarullah, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture presided over the program. Assoc. Professor Tanushree Halder conducted the function.

Among other, Deans, Directors, Registrar, Proctor and other officials and staff members attended the function. The program was also graced by the participation of the awardees’ parents and guardians.

Prof. Dr. Md Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, Vice Chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in his address observed that recognition of good works in any form inspire the recipients and encourage them to moving forward for greater accomplishments. He hoped that the graduates in the long run will provide leadership towards bringing about  economic development of Bangladesh.
