DU white panel elects new convening committee

Dhaka, Dec 31 - The white panel of Dhaka University teachers, backed by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, has got a new convening committee, says a press release.

Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan of the Department of Marketing has been chosen as the convener with the highest number of votes. Professors Dr. Abdus Salam and Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Sarkar are the new joint conveners.

The new committee will be in office for the next two years, according to the press release on Monday.

It said the central convener and two joint conveners for 2025 and 2026 were elected at a general meeting of the white panel on Monday.-UNB
