Poet Asad Chowdhury is taken to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital in Toronto, Canada.
Nadim Iqbal, son-in-law of the poet said two blockages at the heart of the poet were removed this morning. He is kept at the CCU now. He sought blessings from the countrymen for his quick recovery.
Earlier, Asad Chowdhury was admitted to the hospital on Sunday (September 17) and later sent to CCU.
