Jagadeesh takes solo lead

Dhaka, 23 Feb -IM Jagadeesh Siddhirth of Singapore took solo lead in the points table with three points after fourth round games of the Elegant

International Chess Academy Grandmaster Aspirant-two Chess tournament which is being held at the hall room of the Elegant International Chess Academy in the city's Uttara.

GM Ziaur Rahman and FM Aradhya Garg of India shared the second position with 2.5 points.

The third and fourth round matches were held Friday with IM Jagadeesh Siddharth beat IM Linayage Ranindu Dilshan of Sri Lanka, GM Ziaur Rahman beat GM Sriram Jha of India, GM Niaz Murshed split point with FM Aradhya Garg, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman split point with FM Panesar Vidant of India and CM Mayank Chakraborty of India split point with IM Satyaki Azarya Jodi of Indonesia.

While in the fourth round matches, GM Ziaur Rahman beat FM Panesar Vedant, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman beat IM Satyaki Azarya Jodi, GM Niaz Murshed split point with IM Jagadeesh Siddharth, IM Linayage Ranindu Dilshan beat GM Sriram Jha and FM Aradhya Garg split point with CM Mayank Chakraborty.
