Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazaar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary singal no 3.



Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazaar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary singal no Three as deep convection is continuing over North Bay and its adjoining coastal areas.
Confirming the matter, acting officer of Patuakhali met office Masud Rana said, “Such weather may exist for several more days and rainfall is likely to increase.”
He said squally weather may affect the maritime ports, north bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh as deep convection is continuing over North Bay.
So, maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazaar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary singal no Three.
Besides, all fishing boats and trawlers over north bay and deep sea have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
