Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said the release issued for 24 hours commencing from 9am this morning.
Light fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country from midnight to  Sunday morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and minimum temperature Saturday was 15.3 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat.
The highest rainfall for last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 09mm at Nikli.
The sun sets at 5.59 PM today and rises at 6.24 am tomorrow in the capital.
