News line 1: Residents of so many areas in Dhaka getting the smell of gas. According to Titas, it’s due to overpressure of gas following closure of mills-factories on account of the Eid. (suspected leakage in the distribution line as well). However, Repair work is underway.

Residents asked not to panic but take necessary precautionary measures to avoid any possible accident.

News Line 2: Due to bitter price of sugar, many residents in Dhaka could not cook ‘Shemai” (vermicelli).

News Line 3: Amusement parks around Dhaka making brisk business. How much hygiene being maintained in the water kingdom is not known! Dhaka zoo had a huge number of visitors; zoo animals reportedly not so happy to entertaining such a big crowd. Thanks Heaven, they didn’t attack anyone!

News Line 3: Dhaka streets are in desolate state; getting ready to go back to their usual look as people pouring into Dhaka on completion of their visit outside of the capital city in search of their roots (so called).

News Line 4: During Eid, fake cosmetics ranging from skin serum to moisturizing creams plus price fraud with Eid attires (Saree, Punjabi, etc.) were apprehended by the mobile court of the National Directorate of Consumer Rights. Many shops were fined.

News Line 5: Sudden rain during last moments of Ramadan and after Eid came as a blessing to the people and made their Eid celebration comfortable.

News Line 6: Poor and destitute seemed happy with their Eid celebration as some people were much generous in aid of them without clicking selfies.

News Line 7: My best friend went to Cox’s Bazar but no news of return yet! It is gathered that many visitors could not find accommodation of their preference due to influx of guests.
