Mother, son killed over land dispute in Ctg

Chattogram, Apr 25 - A woman and her son were killed and two others were injured today in a clash between two groups over a land dispute at Master Hat area in Chattogram’s Karnofuli upazila.
The deceased were identified as Hosne Ara Begum and her son Parvez.
Two others from the same family, Md Araz and Md Sifat, were injured.
They were taken to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) and the mother-son was declared dead, said Dulal Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Karafuli police station.
A case was filed regarding the land dispute before this incident, said Md. Mobarak Hossain, in-charge of Shikalbaha police outpost.
One of the three accused in the case was on the run. Police went to his house today upon receiving information that he came back, said the in charge.
