
At least 12 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, according to a Lebanese medical source, as fresh attacks were reported across the region.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said eight people were killed in strikes on the town of Tayr Dibba, while four others died in Deir Qanun al-Nahr.
Lebanese state media reported multiple Israeli airstrikes in the south, including at least four strikes targeting Tayr Dibba and two others hitting Deir Qanun al-Nahr.
The latest escalation comes amid continued tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where cross-border hostilities have intensified in recent months.
