Russia's Battlegroup West units have thwarted three attacks by Ukrainian assault groups in the Kupyansk area, Battlegroup Spokesman Sergey Zybinsky told TASS.

"During combat in the Kupyansk area, a unit from Battlegroup West, aided by artillery strikes, repelled three attacks by assault groups from the 32nd and 41st mechanized and 68th jaeger brigades near Ivanovka, Sergeyevka and Sinkovka," the military official said.

"An ammo depot of the 60th mechanized brigade near Ogurtsovo and a radio-electronic warfare station in the vicinity of Borovaya in the Kharkov Region were eliminated," the military official said.

He added that during counterbattery work, the battlegroup's artillery eliminated three mortar crews near Petropavlovka, Novoyegorovka and Novoselovka. The adversary's total losses amounted to 20 troops, two infantry fighting vehicles and three vehicles, reports BSS.
