Russian missiles kill 11, including 5 children, Ukrainian official says

A Russian missile strike has killed 11 people, including five children, in the eastern Ukrainian town of Pokrovsk, a local official said.
Pokrovsk is in Ukrainian-held territory in the Donestk region.
The region's governor, Vadim Filashkin, said that S-300 missiles hit the town.
"The enemy is cynically hitting civilians, trying to bring as much misery as possible to our land," he posted on Telegram.
Russia is yet to comment.
Pokrovsk is about 70km (43 miles) north-west of Donetsk city, which is occupied by Russian forces.
Before the war it had a population of around 60,000 people.
It has been the target of strikes since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In August, at least seven people were killed and dozens more injured in a Russian missile attack on residential buildings in the town, reports BBC.
