Israel said Tuesday it targeted an Iranian missile launcher after a barrage from Iran set off air raid warnings across multiple Israeli areas.
Late Monday, the Israeli military reported detecting the Iranian missile fire and said it was working to intercept the threat.
The launches triggered air raid sirens in several regions, sending residents to shelters. Emergency services, however, confirmed no casualties from the latest attacks.
Following the barrage, Israel said it successfully struck the launcher responsible for firing the missiles toward Israeli territory.
Earlier, Israel had carried out a “broad wave” of airstrikes on Tehran, marking the second such operation on Monday.
