Appellate Division gets 3 new judges

Three Judges of the High Court Division were appointed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court today.

They are- Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam, Justice M Abu Zafar Siddique and Justice Jahangir Hossain, reports BSS.

President M Abdul Hamid made the appointment as per article 95 (1) of the Constitution, a Law and Justice Division gazette notification said.

"The President has appointed three judges of the High Court Division as Judges of the Appellate Division from the date of their swearing-in," the notification said.
