Bangladesh to leave for New Zealand tomorrow

 DHAKA- Bangladesh will leave the country at the early

hours of tomorrow (Thursday) for New Zealand where they will play a two-match
Test series.

   The series is the part of the ICC World Test Championship in which
Bangladesh made a disastrous start by losing two Tests against Pakistan at
home.

   Bangladesh lost the first Test by eight wickets before conceding a
humiliating innings and 8-run defeat in the second Test that ended today
(Wednesday).

   Hours after experiencing that morale-shattering defeat Bangladesh would
have to leave the country. They will in fact leave for Dubai at 1 AM,
tomorrow, on way to New Zealand.

   Bangladesh had already named an 18-member squad for the series. Senior
opener Tamim Iqbal missed the tour due to his injury while ace allrounder
Shakib Al Hasan opted out the series following a family emergency.

   Shakib was named in the squad but was replaced by Fazle Rabbi Mahmud.

   Squad: Mominul Haque (Captain), Shadman Islam, Najmul Hossain Shanto,
Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Mehidy Hasan
