Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field against New Zealand in the first game of the three-match ODI series at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka.
The Tigers have brought two changes. Their two stalwarts, Tamim and Mahmudullah, have returned to the squad while Shakib, Mushfiqur and some of the other key players have also been rested for this series.
